The message from regulators is consistent. AI does not create a legal exemption from existing marketing laws.
Human Accountability Remains Central
Across global regulatory bodies, one principle is becoming standard. It is not whether AI is used, but whether humans remain accountable for what AI produces.
AI generated marketing content often requires final human approval. Decision making processes must be documented. Outputs should be reviewed for accuracy, fairness, and compliance before they go live.
